Magical! These words can describe the Valentino Haute Couture Show in Venice, which included the lagoon city as a silent actor. However, the picturesque backdrop chosen was not a palace, but a minimalist shipyard, which allowed the collection to come to the fore. 

The Haute Couture Fall/Winter collection at the Arsenale Venice to a highlight you&#39;ve been waiting for: Love was in the air! Or should we rather call it unity? This can be deduced not only from the song selection of the singer Cosima, but also from the intention of the creative director. Pierpaolo Piccioli worked together with a community of different artists for Maison Valentino to combine Contemporary Art with Fashion.&nbsp;

The intention was to merge painting with haute couture and to elevate two-dimensionality into three-dimensional space by means of clothing.&nbsp;

&quot;Alchemy!&quot;, is the keyword we keep in mind here, because the couture codes of Maison <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/tags/valentino">Valentino</a> - from the &quot;floating hats&quot; to the great robe - were provided with motifs of artists.&nbsp;

The virtuosity of this collection consists above all in the timelessness of the cuts, which do not turn to any era, yet perfectly capture the spirit of the times. Creating values, the relevance of fashion in a world that is turning faster and faster - pausing to focus on the essentials. Pierpaolo Piccioli has brought all this to a common denominator.&nbsp;

What do we take away from this collection? The bow to art and an &quot;experiment,&quot; as Piccioli calls it, revolves around heritage and community spirit.
